About Us -- My Instructors Master Sherm Harrill      7th Dan Isshin-Ryu Karate (Harrill's Isshin-Ryu Karate School) 1st Generation Black Belt Under Grandmaster Shimabuku While in Okinawa, as a Marine, Master Harrill studied directly under Grandmaster Tatsuo Shimabuku, the founder of Isshin-Ryu Karate, 1959-1960. Master Harrill has been on the seminar circuit across the United States and internationally for more than twenty years sharing his knowledge in the art of Isshin-Ryu Karate. Students and instructors from many different styles have been able to learn and apply the principles taught at his seminars to their own martial arts education. In memory of Master Sherman J.
