Officer Mandrell and I had cause to have our priorities revised
- A man's wanted on a warrant - is what dispatch advised
1000 block of South Fourth, white male dressed in black
We spotted a man of such description as we drove around back
Officer Mandrell got out to speak with the man
I approached the guy, while devising a plan
The name "D'Blanc, Phil N" was quickly provided
Phil N D'Blanc was feloneous and the smiling subsided
We explained changing monikurs is not fun and games
It's Obstructing Justice when you use fake names
He agreed to use his and his name solely
He confessed his real name is Steve Holy
The truth did not keep him out of jail by far
He had a warrant for a fight in a bar
He did not believe the warrant, he did not cooperate
But the application of Mr. Miller's Hold made him appreciate
That we're only doing our jobs and he should go along
because Resisting A Police Officer would be just wrong
We transported Steve Holy to my county jail
He is there now waiting for bail
We got out our Planning Cards to debrief our work
Instead of ridicule, "GOOD JOB" said Holy with a smirk
